Community Cancer Center of North Florida to Host Survivors Day Round-Up Celebration

(GAINESVILLE, Fla., and LAKE CITY, Fla.) – Community Cancer Center of North Florida (CCCNF) will host its annual Cancer Survivors Day celebration in Gainesville on Saturday, June 4th from 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. and in Lake City on Sunday, June 5th from 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. This free western-themed event will take place at the CCCNF facility, located at 7000 NW 11th Place in Gainesville and 4520 W US Highway 90 in Lake City.

"Cancer Survivors Day really demonstrates the trust and friendship among survivors, their loved ones and our medical staff who have played a vital role in patients' lives," said CCCNF Founder Paul Schilling, M.D. "We do this in admiration of the strength and spirit people find when fighting cancer, and for recognition of the courage and determination required to be a cancer survivor." CCCNF will provide barbecue, music, and other fun surprises.
